Honoring Nakota LaRance(Hopi/Tewa/Assiniboine): Celebrating the Art and Traditions of Hoop Dance, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture

Nakotah LaRance (Hopi/Tewa/Assiniboine) from OhKay Owingeh Pueblo, 6 time World Hoop Dance Champion, Actor, and principal dancer for Cirque Du Soleil’s “Totem” show died following a fall in 2021.

The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture is planning a celebration of his life and talent and a Hoop Dance Symposium  to honor this remarkable young artist.
