MARTHA REDBONE (CHEROKEE), “BONE HILL”
Created by one of today’s most vital voices in American Roots music, Martha Redbone’s Bone Hill is a dramatic musical look at four generations of women in her Cherokee family and their lives in the Appalachian Mountains. Performed by a cast of cast of eight, the performance presents their stories through dramatic, wide-ranging music from traditional Cherokee chants and lullabies to bluegrass, blues, gospel, jazz, and R&B.
